Rest assured you are getting the best with Design Tile & Stone, offering quality you can count on.
Metamorphic rock is formed by
geologic events in which heat and/or
pressure change existing materials
into new kinds of stone.
The new stone can have very different
physical and chemical properties
compared to its original form.
Limestone can become marble, for
example. Marble, granite and
quartzite are examples of
metamorphic rock.
Quartzite is one of the few materials
which can be used in the freeze/thaw
climates such as Northern Nevada.

Quartzite is great for exterior decks,
patios and barbecues.  Quartzite
adds warmth and character to eating
and gathering areas, bathrooms,
fireplaces and floors.
Natural variation ensures that no two tiles are exactly alike

Time has little impact on Quartzite. Its rugged character evokes age-old building materials, yet it also looks at
home in a more contemporary architecture setting.  Thanks to its rich texture and range of colors, its suited
to any number of design interpretations.  A perfect compliment or contrast to other materials, the colors of
Quartzite are comfortable and homey, bringing the outdoors in to your home - naturally.
About the Natural Beauty of Natural Stone
Stone is a product of nature and will exhibit color variation, graining differences and mineral streaks. Variation in hues, tonality, and
appearance are normal and are to be expected. No two pieces are alike. Understanding these unique variations will give you a
greater appreciation for the beauty of natural stone.  Please take a moment and discover the traits that are most common with your
favorite natural stone and discuss the traits with your design specialist to ensure you are comfortable with the characteristics prior to
ordering.  Photographic images cannot accurately represent the appearance of stone. Theses images are indications of the typical
color, structure and appearance of each type in stock at the time the photo was taken.  Samples in stock at the time of our receipt of
your order may vary substantially.  It is recommended that a current sample of the actual batch be obtained prior to ordering.
